

Jakarta, April 14, 2026 – Indonesia Cement Association (ASPERSSI) held its Halalbihalal gathering at ARTOTEL Mangkuluhur, Jakarta. The event was conducted in a warm and friendly atmosphere, serving as an important occasion to strengthen relationships, foster unity, and enhance collaboration within the national cement industry.
The gathering was attended by board members and executives of cement companies, representatives from government ministries, and invited representatives from several associations. Their presence reflected the strong cross-sector collaboration in supporting the development of Indonesia’s cement industry.
The event commenced with a presentation on the latest developments in the national cement industry, covering market conditions, business challenges, and key strategic issues currently faced by the sector. This was followed by remarks from the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of ASPERSSI and the Head of BSKJI, Ministry of Industry, as a form of support for the strengthening and transformation of the cement industry.
The program then continued with a special session titled “Teropong 2026”, which discussed the current economic outlook and strategies for navigating future challenges and uncertainties. The session provided insights into national economic prospects, policy directions, and strategic responses that businesses, particularly the cement industry, can undertake.
As the highlight of the event, ASPERSSI officially inaugurated the transformation of the association’s name from the ASI to the ASPERSSI. This change marks a strategic step to better represent all cement business players in Indonesia and to strengthen the association’s role in addressing future industry challenges and opportunities. Through this event, ASPERSSI reaffirmed its commitment to serving as a platform for synergy, communication, and transformation of Indonesia’s cement industry toward a more sustainable future.
