Jakarta, 26 August 2026 – Indonesia Cement Association (ASPERSSI) had the valuable opportunity to hold a courtesy meeting with Bapak Moh Jumhur Hidayat, Minister of Environment of the Republic of Indonesia and Head of the Environmental Control Agency (KLH/BPLH).
The meeting was attended by senior leaders from ASPERSSI member companies, including Bapak Christian Kartawijaya, President Director of PT Indocement Tunggal Prakarsa Tbk; Ibu Reni Wulandari, Director of Operations of PT Semen Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (SIG); and Bapak Surindro Kalbu Adi, President Director of PT Cemindo Gemilang Tbk.
During the meeting, ASPERSSI shared an overview of the Indonesian cement industry, including recent developments and achievements, the industry’s commitment to sustainability and decarbonization, as well as key challenges and areas where government support would be important.
The discussion provided a valuable opportunity to exchange perspectives on the role of the cement industry in supporting Indonesia’s environmental and sustainability agenda, while maintaining the industry’s competitiveness.
ASPERSSI greatly appreciated the warm welcome and positive response from Bapak Moh Jumhur Hidayat and the KLH/BPLH team, as well as the constructive discussion and opportunity to share the industry’s perspectives.
