

China, May, 13 2026 – The Chairman of ASPERSSI had the honour of participating as a keynote speaker and panellist at the 2026 International Cement Low-Carbon Development Forum, organized by the China Cement Association in Fuzhou on 13 May 2026.
The international forum gathered cement industry stakeholders and experts from several countries, including China, Indonesia, Vietnam, Türkiye, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan, to discuss strategies and experiences in advancing low-carbon transformation within the cement industry. Key topics addressed during the forum included decarbonization pathways, alternative fuels and raw materials, energy transition, digitalization, CCUS implementation, green electricity utilization, industrial competitiveness, and investment challenges in achieving sustainable development targets.
During the session, the Chairman of ASPERSSI presented Indonesia’s roadmap toward Net Zero Emissions (NZE) 2050 and contributed to panel discussions regarding the future direction of low-carbon transition in the cement sector, particularly in addressing overcapacity issues, financing for carbon reduction initiatives, and energy transition challenges.
The forum was held as part of CEMENTTECH 2026, one of the leading global exhibitions for the cement industry, featuring more than 120 international exhibitors and highlighting innovations in low-carbon technologies, intelligent equipment, green mining, and digital industrial solutions. The participation of ASPERSSI in this international forum reflects the association’s commitment to strengthening global collaboration and encouraging knowledge exchange in support of a greener and more sustainable cement industry.
